How much time before departure do I need to be at the airport?

We recommend you arrive: 3 hours ahead of departure for long-haul flights and 2 hours for all other flights. 

Remember, once you are at the airport, you need to:
  • Drop your luggage off at the airline’s bag drop counter
  • Check in if you have not done so already
  • Pass through Security Control
  • Pass through Customs (for specific destinations)
It is therefore important to arrive well ahead of time to carry out these different procedures.
Most airlines will advertise the opening time of their check-in/bag drop counter on their website. For a smooth start to your journey, we advise you check this information on their website.
