How did Option Way come about?
Mathieu Chauvin became an avid traveller after he started visiting lots of different countries in his student days. Once he was bitten by the travel bug, there was no going back! He went on to explore the four corners of the globe, taking friends and family along for the adventure.
However, the more trips he organised, the more he was surprised at how complicated and difficult it was to compare and buy flights. What struck him most, besides the fact that finding the right ticket always took forever, was that consumers were getting a raw deal on most other sites that employed practices like charging hidden fees. Practices that had become so common, in fact, that consumers had just come to accept them. When extra fees were added at the point of payment, nobody batted an eyelid…
And yet there is absolutely nothing normal about hopping from site to site looking for the perfect flight just to avoid falling for the various tricks other companies employ. And that’s where the idea for Option Way was born! A travel agency with a mission to offer travel consumers a reliable and seamless shopping experience—both on and off line with an internal customer services department made up of proper air travel experts. This mission is conducted through four key promises to our customers:
