What does Option Way’s multi-risk insurance cover?
Our insurance includes the essential cover you need to deal with any unforeseen circumstances. These types of insurance only cover the flight part of your booking.
Multi-risk insurance contains:
- Included - Cancellation insurance for any justified reason
- Compensation if passenger cannot leave due to a positive Covid-19 test* or fever at the boarding gate
- Medical expenses overseas including COVID-19 (up to €150,000)
- Repatriation assistance (actual costs) and hotel costs in case of quarantine (COVID-19)
- Compensation in the event of flight delays
- Compensation if your luggage is lost or stolen
- Legal assistance overseas

Important: both types of insurance exclude flights taken against the advice of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Please make the necessary enquiries beforehand.The insurances do not cover circumstances where it is not possible to complete the travel (due to movement restrictions from the departure, transit and/or destination country or due to a carrier failure).
*The PCR test will be only valid if prescribed by a doctor to verify existing symptoms or required by the destination country's health authorities or the airline.
